European cooperation

National expertise meets grassroots experience

Shooting for Success brings together three experienced organisations from Bulgaria, Serbia and Germany, combining national federation expertise with practical grassroots club experience. Together, the partners contribute knowledge in athlete development, coaching, sports administration, competition organisation and the long-term development of shooting sports.

Bulgaria

Bulgarian Shooting Union

The Bulgarian Shooting Union is the national organisation for sport shooting in Bulgaria. It coordinates sporting structures and competitions, supports athletes and national teams, and works with shooting clubs across different age categories and disciplines. Through Shooting for Success, the Union contributes its experience in athlete development, education, sports administration and the sustainable development of shooting sport.

Role in Shooting for Success

The Bulgarian Shooting Union is the lead beneficiary for Work Package 1. Within the project outputs, it coordinates the Educational Programme and the Shooting for Success Online Platform, supporting the connection between research, training resources and practical tools for young athletes, coaches, clubs and administrators.

Serbia

Serbian Shooting Federation

The Serbian Shooting Federation is the national governing organisation for shooting sport in Serbia, bringing together shooting clubs and sport-shooting organisations from across the country. Its work includes competition organisation, athlete and coach development, licensing, national team programmes and educational activities, with experience spanning youth development and high-performance shooting.

Role in Shooting for Success

Within Shooting for Success, the Serbian Shooting Federation leads the Research Report, which maps relevant practices and provides an evidence base for the project's educational and grassroots-development activities.

Germany

HSG München

Königlich Privilegierte Hauptschützengesellschaft München

HSG München is a long-established Munich shooting club with practical experience across a broad range of shooting disciplines. Its facilities and activities cover 10 m, 25 m, 50 m and 100 m shooting, providing the partnership with a strong club-level perspective on training, participation, administration and the everyday realities of grassroots shooting sport.

Role in Shooting for Success

Within Shooting for Success, HSG München leads the Recommendation Report, contributing practical club-level experience to recommendations for sustainable grassroots development and long-term impact.
